Join us and enjoy a creative afternoon with like-minded people. Bring your own sewing project, whether that’s making, mending or alterations. Lauren will be on hand if you need any guidance/advice about your project or your sewing machine. Beginners and accompanied children 12 years+ welcome
Minimum £6 donation (to help cover the cost of expert advice, room hire and refreshments). Bring your own sewing machine, or hire one for £5. To reserve one of our sewing machines email info@simplyrepair.org.uk
We will provide:
- advice and guidance as needed on your sewing projects
- sewing machines for hire (email info@simplyrepair.org.uk to reserve)
- iron and ironing board, cutting space
- hot drinks and biscuits (organic and palm-oil free).
What to bring:
- sewing project and all necessary fabrics, threads, yarns, etc
- sewing kit
- sewing machine if you need one
- £5 in cash if you would like to hire one of our sewing machines for the session.
Your host
This month’s Simply Repair Sewing Club is hosted by Helen Stuart, a member of our Repair Cafe sewing team with over 20 years in performance and outdoor wear, who has led award-winning product ranges from concept through to production. Passionate about sustainability and extending the life of clothing, Helen brings a warm, practical, and highly knowledgeable hands-on approach, empowering others to confidently repair, restore and care for their clothes.
Refunds and Cancellations
Tickets will be refunded if:
- The event is cancelled
- The event is rescheduled, and you cannot make the new date
- The event changes location, and you cannot attend
Unfortunately, we cannot automatically offer refunds if you can no longer attend the event due to personal circumstances or if you have changed your mind about attending the event. If you are unable to attend, please email us at info@simplyrepair.org.uk as soon as possible and we will refund your payment if we manage to resell your ticket.
If you have been charged a booking fee, unfortunately this cannot be refunded.
